So I am debating on what I should get. I don't want to spend TOO much money, but I definitely want it to be worth the money. Hopefully I will be able to use it for fun and not just school. I could spend a little extra money and purchase a Flip. (which is shown below...yes it is pink because let's be honest...if I could a Flip it would be the pink one!) picture from Walmart.com

Do any of you know anything about camcorders and have suggestions? I really don't even know where to start when looking at these. I've heard that the Flip is good, but is it worth the extra money? I am willing to spend it if that's what the rest of the world thinks is the best way to go. Thanks for the input! :-)
Hey girl! I had to buy a camera to, so I could tape myself practicing counseling. I was going to buy the FLIP also, but I decided not to. I compared all the cheaper priced cameras and what they did and stuff. I read that the FLIP isn't that sensitive when picking up sound or have the greatest video quality. I bought a tripod (around $17) and bought a JVC handycam. It uses a SD memory card. I'm not sure of the model, but it was between $200-$230 (I believe).
ReplyDeleteIt's also easy to use. The quality and sound are pretty good. It's really small, and really fun to play with!
Ewww, I remember having to videotape myself. I hated looking at myself of film.
ReplyDeleteWe have a flip cam (and by we, I mean husband has it over in Afghanland and hopefully has used it once in the past 6 months!). I didn't get a lot of time to play with it, but the times we did, I liked it.
I have a flip and I really like it. I actually thought it was pretty cheap compared to most camcorders out there, but I got one that only records up to an hour.
